My grandparents, Marion Monroe (Rote) Pierce and wife Clara Etta Armstrong Pierce. He was born 13 June 1870 in the Clear Springs community in western Clark County, Arkansas, died 7 August 1971 in Clark County Arkansas. She was born 24 June 1877 and died 29 March 1952 in Hot Springs, Garland County Arkansas. They were married 14 December 1894 in Clark County Arkansas and had 4 boys and 8 girls. Only Vivian, the youngest daughter is still living. These were the best people I ever knew, we need more people like they were. At his death, they had 133 descendants.
